Lukashenka: The USA perfectly understands what we can and cannot do
Alexander Lukashenka believes that the prospects in relations with the USA are "not bad," and conveyed greetings to US Special Representative John Koole and his "charming wife."

Belarus intends to adhere to an open position and not be evasive in relations with the USA. Alexander Lukashenka stated this on July 28, while receiving a report from Valentin Rybakov, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN.
Lukashenka assessed the relations between Belarus and the USA, their dynamics and prospects, as "not bad."
He emphasized that during negotiations with US representatives, he "clearly and unambiguously" explained Belarus's position to the American side: what is possible and what the country will not agree to.
"I explained about our relations, first of all, with our Russia, with the PRC, and also with Iran. We touched upon many topics," Lukashenka said. "We have never been evasive and have not hidden our position in diplomatic terms. We are winning from this today. They perfectly understand, including Mr. Koole, what we can and cannot do."
"We will adhere to this course further. Such decency, openness, and our open position," Lukashenka declared.
Addressing Rybakov, Lukashenka said: "It is your honor, and a very, very great task, to establish relations between the USA and Belarus. You are working in close contact with John Koole. Convey my best wishes to him and his charming wife."
"The situation that is developing in our relations, and especially the dynamics and prospects, are not bad," he added, characterizing the relations between Belarus and the USA.
