Verdict Handed Down to Lexus Driver Who Confused Pedals a Year Ago in Maladziečna
On August 9 last year, a tragic road accident occurred in Maladziečna, in which a 31-year-old woman died. It is now known how the Lexus driver responsible for this was punished.

According to the case materials, the driver was entering a parking lot near the store but failed to ensure pedestrian safety and made errors while driving the car — simply put, he confused the pedals. As a result, the car rapidly accelerated, drove onto the sidewalk, hit a woman, and then crashed into the store building.
The victim died on the spot from the injuries sustained.
During the court proceedings, the accused fully admitted his guilt.
The court found him guilty of violating Traffic Regulations, which by negligence led to a person's death, and sentenced him to three years of imprisonment to be served in a correctional colony-settlement.
