Sabalenka: I Don't Want a Big Wedding, Maximum 300 People

The world's top-ranked tennis player from Belarus spoke about her upcoming wedding with a millionaire. The couple is not rushing.

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka spoke about her upcoming wedding with Brazilian millionaire Georgios Frangulis. The businessman recently proposed to the athlete. But the wedding itself is still a long way off.

Sabalenka would not want a big wedding. In her understanding, 300 guests would be enough. But, most likely, there will be significantly more.

"We know where and when it will take place, but we haven't started planning yet. We need to at least start compiling the guest list and see how big the celebration will be."

"It seems to me that in the end there will be, well, I don't know, 500 or 1000 people, but I don't want a big wedding. I want a maximum of 300 people, to throw a huge party where everyone will have fun. Everyone says that in the end there will be 500-1000 people. And I think: 'How can you even manage to greet everyone?'" — shared Sabalenka.

The wedding is planned for September next year. But there is no definite date yet, everything could be postponed.

Sabalenka and Frangulis have been dating for over two years. The Brazilian of Greek descent proposed to the Belarusian in March 2026.
