In an interview with "Radio Belgrade," Aleksandar Vucic expressed the opinion that he would leave his post in "three or four months," or possibly even earlier. The President of Serbia noted that he has already begun gradually vacating his office.
"I started collecting my books in the presidential office. I asked my friends who could take 500 books. I will donate 1200 books that I received during my time in office to some institution, I'm just still thinking which one exactly," he said.
Vucic also admitted that he is considering running for prime minister and is looking for a worthy successor for the presidential post from the current government.
He described the future presidential candidate as "a responsible, educated, and energetic person who knows what the state is and how it functions."
Vucic has held the post of President of Serbia since July 2017; his second term ends in a year.
