A routine trip on February 9 to Zaslaŭskaje reservoir (Minsk Sea) for fisherman Andrei ended with a large pike, whose size surprised many experienced fishermen.

According to the fisherman, the toothy fish bit at approximately 4:00 PM, writes fishingby.com.
Given the size of the fish, he had to work hard drilling the hole, otherwise, it would have been simply impossible to pull it out through the thick layer of ice.

«I drilled three holes around the main one, one of the fishermen helped cut the ice. By the time I pulled it out, I had used up all my strength. I had to strip down to just a t-shirt in the frost,» Andrei recounted.
The pike weighed 12.5 kg.
