In the near future, flights from Iran will again begin to operate to the capital of Belarus, reports Times.by with reference to the Iranian agency IRNA.
Direct air service between Minsk and Tehran is planned to be resumed in the near future. Such a decision was made after a meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus Dmitry Koltsov in Iran with representatives of the government and business of that country.
It is noted that Minsk has issued all the necessary permits for the opening of a direct flight on this route. In addition, the ambassador invited Iranian tour operators to future tourist exhibitions in Minsk.
The exact dates for the launch of flights have not yet been announced, however, it is known that the flights will be operated by Mahan Air.
Currently, you can only get to Iran with transfers. By the way, for citizens of Belarus, a visa-free entry regime is in effect in Iran: one can stay in the country for up to 15 days, but not more often than once every six months. For citizens of Iran, a visa is still required to enter Belarus.
