Russian government announced "partial stabilization" of the fuel market

However, a tense situation persists in some regions today.

The Russian government announced a "partial stabilization" of the fuel market. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, TASS reports.

According to him, the measures to ban the export of oil products, saturate the market through imports, as well as increase production volumes and postpone factory repair deadlines, have yielded results.

“We see that these measures are yielding results and the market is already partially stabilizing. Restrictions are being lifted in many regions, and this is evident from the number of operating filling stations and the reduction in queues,” Novak noted.

According to him, in some regions, "a tense situation persists today," and discussions are being held with companies in a manual, targeted mode on how to provide these regions with the necessary volumes of oil products, writes "Dozhd".
