Traffic to be restricted on two avenues in Minsk tomorrow

On Sunday, July 26, the main competitions of the International Minsk Triathlon will take place in the Belarusian capital. More than three thousand athletes from 13 countries will take part in the event. Due to this event, the State Automobile Inspectorate will introduce temporary traffic restrictions on Pobediteley Avenue and Masherov Avenue.

Traffic will be blocked:

  • from 06:45 to 12:45 — on the even side of Pobediteley Avenue in the direction of the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD) on the section from Ratamskaya Street to Masherov Avenue;
  • from 06:45 to 14:45 — on the even side of Pobediteley Avenue from Parkovaya Street to Ratamskaya Street;
  • from 08:10 to 12:45 — on Masherov Avenue on the section from Pobediteley Avenue to Daumana Street.

In addition, temporary parking and stopping of vehicles will be prohibited in the area of the triathlon.

Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and, if possible, bypass areas where restrictions will be in effect.
