U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he currently sees no point in holding negotiations with Iran without clear and substantive conditions, writes Associated Press.

During a conversation with journalists, Trump noted that the Iranian side is allegedly very interested in meeting with U.S. representatives. However, at the same time, he emphasized that Washington will not participate in such negotiations until Tehran is ready for a specific discussion on ways to resolve the conflict.
The American president also stated that during private contacts, Iranian representatives allegedly reported a desire to stop the confrontation, as their armed forces are suffering significant losses.
According to media reports, the U.S. administration is currently considering two main scenarios: achieving a new ten-day truce or conducting a large-scale joint military operation with Israel to force Iran to cease hostilities.
Previously, the United States reported the deaths of two American servicemen and the disappearance of another after Iranian strikes on a military facility in Jordan.
Following this, Donald Trump stated that American armed forces carried out new strikes on Iran in response to the deaths of its servicemen and warned Tehran of possible further harsh retaliatory measures.
