USA and Iran Exchanged Strikes for Eighth Consecutive Night After Death of Two American Servicemen in Jordan
American servicemen stated that they had completed another series of strikes on Iran.

On Sunday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that an American serviceman had died in northern Iraq on Saturday. According to the report, this happened during a "controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance" from an Iranian drone. Another serviceman was wounded.
The US and Iran have been exchanging strikes for the eighth day after a temporary ceasefire agreement, signed a month ago by the presidents of the two countries, was broken.
Iran's Mehr agency reported that the US launched a strike near the city of Sirik in southern Iran. No casualties or damage to infrastructure were recorded. The Tasnim agency stated that American servicemen also struck a facility near the city of Shadegan, close to the border with Iraq.
In response to the latest strikes, Iranian forces again attacked American military facilities and equipment in Kuwait – Camp Al-Adairi and Ali Al-Salem Air Base – with drones, Iranian state television reported Sunday morning, citing a military statement.
