Aitana Lopez is Spain's first artificial model, created by the Spanish design agency The Clueless. In an interview with Euronews, the head of the agency, Rubén Cruz, told how the idea to create Aitana came about.

"We started analyzing our work and realized that many projects were being delayed or cancelled due to reasons beyond our control.

During a difficult period for the agency, the idea of creating our own influencer emerged. This is how Aitana was "born", becoming a model for brands that approached The Clueless. She earns an average of 3 thousand euros per month, but there were also times when Aitana's earnings exceeded 10 thousand euros," Rubén Cruz told Euronews.

Cruz noted that the virtual girl was created to ensure companies' independence from real models "who want to earn money simply by posing in front of a camera."

Artificial Aitana has already become the face of Big, a company that produces sports nutrition supplements, and has created an account on Fanvue (a platform similar to OnlyFans). Aitana's Instagram has gained 145 thousand followers in just a few months, and some celebrities even write to her personally, trying to invite the girl on a date.

"One day a famous Latin American actor invited her on a date. He didn't even realize that Aitana was a virtual model," Cruz shared.

The model's life is managed by an entire team of specialists. Every week at The Clueless agency, a meeting is held to decide what Aitana will do in the next 7 days.

Employees decide where she will go and what she will post on social media. The Clueless quickly realized that people online primarily follow lives, not just images, Euronews writes.

Aitana, according to her creators, is a blank slate for designers. She has a striking appearance and strong personal qualities. The girl was conceived as a goal-oriented person with a complex character, endowed with everything that society likes most today. That's why the model has pink hair and loves computer games.

After Aitana's creation, The Clueless began to receive many more offers for cooperation. According to Rubén Cruz, many companies do not want to work with real models because they fear copyright issues after their sudden departure. Moreover, it is a significant saving of money, Cruz added.

The design agency believes that such artificial models can help the development of small businesses that cannot afford expensive model ambassadors.

However, there were also those who criticized this idea. People are concerned that the appearance of a virtual model could influence young people to become obsessed with achieving such beauty ideals. Aitana's appearance is also criticized, being called "too sexual," Euronews reports.
