Speaking at a UN Security Council meeting in New York, he stated that the Baltic countries welcome the readiness of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for talks at the highest level and support US efforts to end the war.
Budrys emphasized that peace must be based on international law, the return of illegally detained prisoners of war and civilians, as well as holding those responsible for the crime of aggression accountable.
