In Brest, a 17-year-old teenager became a victim of fraudsters and took his parents' savings — about 55 thousand Belarusian rubles — from home, reported the Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

First, the boy received a call in a messenger from people pretending to be employees who were allegedly replacing the intercom and making new chips. The young man gave a code from a message on his phone.
After that, he received a call from a person who introduced himself as a law enforcement officer. He stated that this code was being used to apply for a loan in his parents' name and that they faced criminal liability.
To "save" his parents from problems, the teenager was persuaded to take all the cash from home and leave it in a specific place. He took about 55 thousand rubles from the safe and left the bundle of money at a bus stop.
The police are identifying the fraudsters. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
