Pages of Russian opposition politicians Volkov and Yashin recognized as "extremist" in Belarus
The Telegram channels of two opponents of the Kremlin, Leonid Volkov and former political prisoner Ilya Yashin, have been added to the republican list of "extremist materials."

The information products of the Telegram channels "Leonid Volkov" and "Илья Яшин" were recognized as "extremist" by the Loev District Court.
Leonid Volkov is a Russian opposition politician and one of the closest associates of Alexei Navalny, who died in a penal colony. Ilya Yashin is an opposition politician who was sentenced in Russia to eight and a half years in a penal colony for statements about the killings of civilians in Bucha. In 2024, he was released as a result of a prisoner exchange between Russia and Western countries.
The updated list of the Ministry of Information also included the Instagram account "masahiro_sibbata" and the TikTok account "Тот самый Белорус" (That very Belarusian).
