An overpass on the 21st kilometer of the Minsk — Gomel highway is planned for reconstruction in the coming years. During the works, traffic on this section of the road will be completely blocked, and transport will be diverted, writes Realt.by.
This overpass was built back in 1977. Over almost half a century, a number of critical defects have accumulated in its structures, so further operation of the facility is deemed inappropriate. The reconstruction will be carried out with a complete closure of traffic both on the overpass and under it — on the M-4 Minsk — Mogilev highway.
Construction of the new overpass is expected to begin in 2028.
The customer for the works is "Minskavtodor-Center", and the general designer and developer of the environmental impact assessment report is "Belgiprodar". Public discussion of the report began on September 9 and will continue until October 9.
