An all-female referee team officiated a football match in the Belarusian Premier League for the first time — a historic event
Yesterday's match of the 19th round of the Premier League between "Minsk" and "Vitebsk" made history in Belarusian football. For the first time, a men's national championship match was officiated by an all-female referee team, writes Onliner.

The chief referee of the match was Volha Blotskaya, a native of Maladzyechna. She was assisted by Nastassia Danchanka from Minsk and Alesya Hutnik from Brest. Valiantsina Sakalovich from Zhodzina served as the fourth official.

The match ended with "Vitebsk" winning 1:0.
For Blotskaya, this was her fourth match in the men's "top league" — in April, the referee became the first woman to lead a referee team in Belarus's elite football division. However, in all previous games, men also worked in her team.
Female teams led by Blotskaya also officiated Belarusian Cup matches. In 2025, there were three such games. However, even then, the fourth official was a man every time.
