It became known where the Belarusian national team will play its home Nations League matches
Andrey Vasilevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation, announced that the Belarusian national team will play its home Nations League matches in Hungary, writes football.by.

"We will play in Budapest, but definitely not at the Ferenc Puskás Arena. The choice of Hungary as the venue for the matches is complex. The football federation of this country meets us halfway and always helps, for which we are very grateful. Yes, other options were considered, but here the visa issue is also resolved, and it's logistically more convenient, so we settled on Hungary," he said.
Recall that the Belarusian national team will compete in Group C1, where its opponents will be the national teams of Albania, Finland, and San Marino.
Moreover, this year the Nations League tournament will be slightly modified. National teams will immediately play four matches.
The Belarusian national team will start the tournament with an away match against Albania on September 26, followed by a game in Turku against Finland on September 29. Accordingly, on October 3 and 6, the conditional home games against San Marino and Finland will take place in Hungary.
The remaining two games will be played in November: November 12 against San Marino away, November 15 against Albania in Hungary.
After the start of the war in Ukraine, as a result of cosmetic sanctions, Belarusian national teams and clubs play their home matches in neutral countries without spectators. In addition to Hungary, national teams and clubs have played in Serbia, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan.
