We remember her from the cult series "Just Maria".
A few weeks ago, photos of actress Victoria Ruffo appeared on social networks, in which she poses with two Russian women, writes Delfi.
In early June, a post appeared on the Instagram of a Russian makeup artist, who runs a page under the nickname syuzanna_mua, with a geolocation tag of Sochi, Russia, as well as two photos in which she poses with Victoria Ruffo and Russian hair stylist nan_aleqsanyan.
"Incredible Victoria Ruffo. The warmest and most soulful person," reads the Russian caption to the photos.
Later, another post appeared, from which it became clear that the actress participated in an event in Russia, where she also walked the red carpet.
Many comments from Russian users immediately appeared under these publications. Many noted that the actress is loved in Russia and they are always happy to see her:
"We didn't even know Victoria was coming to Sochi. I would have flown to you. Beautiful queen. Congratulations on such an event, we love you. From Russia";
"We love you in Russia."
The Mexican series "Just Maria" (produced by Valentin Pimshtein, son of migrants from Belarus) was released in 1989, and in 1993 it was shown in Russia and Belarus on the ORT channel. It had 150 episodes. Victoria Ruffo starred in it along with Jaime Garcia, Manuel Saval.
The name of her son José Ignacio, along with Luis Alberto from "The Rich Also Cry", became a meme and a subject of ridicule.
