Propaganda attacked Latushka's 'expensive' watch. He revealed what model it actually is
Propaganda channels drew attention to Pavel Latushka's watch. It is claimed that he wears a Zenith watch for $13 thousand. But this is, of course, a lie — a different brand, even different colors.
In reality, Latushka wears a watch of the French brand Oxygen with Peugeot co-branding — such models were made in the 'Legend'/Sport Vintage style collection.
This quartz watch has three small dials, showing the day of the week, date, and a 24-hour hand.
New Oxygen x Peugeot watches like these sold for approximately €150-190. On the secondary market, the watches sell for €40-100 depending on their condition and completeness.
This is a mass-produced quartz watch; it has no collector's premium. This model is no longer in the current Peugeot catalog; only another line remains.
As explained by Pavel Latushka's press service, this watch was gifted to the politician in Paris. In 2014, as Belarus's ambassador to France, he participated in the signing of an agreement on the assembly of Peugeot cars at the Unison factory. The exact same model was gifted to all members of the Belarusian delegation.
