Siarhei Tsikhanouski launched his YouTube channel with poems and fairy tales
The ex-political prisoner says that he decided to create such a channel while still in prison. Today he presented it.

This is how Tsikhanouski presented his channel, referencing the famous early 20th-century poem by Alexander Blok, "Night, Street, Lamppost, Pharmacy."
He says that while still in prison in 2023, he decided to create a channel for his poems. "Poems are a mirror of the soul; I invite everyone to look into my soul," called the ex-political prisoner.
The next video was "A New Belarusian Fairy Tale," written in 2023.
In the video, Tsikhanouski walks through the forest. Perhaps these are the surroundings of Los Angeles, where Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's husband now lives.
"A long, long time ago, in some kingdom, in the 375th state, there lived a magical little folk, similar to others, but deformed. And the deformation was that they were deprived of freedom," begins the ex-political prisoner's narration.
Siarhei Tsikhanouski, let us remind you, spent five years behind bars, was released in June 2025 by pardon, lived in Vilnius for some time, and then moved to the USA, lived with his children in Miami for some time, and then moved to Los Angeles.
"Today in Los Angeles, I am studying English, preparing for university admission, writing a book, and engaging in creative work. I am also grateful to everyone who supported me after my release. Adapting to life at liberty is not an easy test. Each new day reminds me how precious family, freedom, and the ability to speak the truth are," he said.
His children — Karnei and Ahniya — now live with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya in Warsaw.
