Forecaster Dmitry Ryabov on ONT TV channel reported that from August 3 to 9 in Belarus, very hot weather will first set in, and then a noticeable cooling will occur.
On Monday, sunny and dry weather is expected under the influence of an anticyclone. Fog is possible in some places in the morning. At night, the temperature will be from +12 to +19 degrees, and in the afternoon — from +25 in the north to +31 degrees in the Brest and Gomel regions.
On Tuesday, short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible in the south of the country. At night, it will be from +13 to +20 degrees, and in the afternoon, the air will warm up from +27 in the Vitebsk region to +37 degrees in the Brest region.
Wednesday is expected to be the peak of the heat. According to the forecast, no precipitation is expected, and the daytime temperature will be from +32 to +38 degrees. At night, it will be from +15 to +25 degrees.
On Thursday, an atmospheric front will begin to pass through the territory of Belarus, bringing short-term rains and cooler air. At night, temperatures are expected from +10 to +17 degrees, and in the afternoon — from +23 in the north of the country to +30 degrees in the Gomel region.
On Friday, no significant precipitation is forecast. Fog is possible in some places. The air temperature at night will be from +13 to +18 degrees, in the afternoon — from +22 in the north to +26 degrees in the Brest region.
Over the weekend, the weather will be determined by western atmospheric fronts. On Saturday afternoon, short-term rains and thunderstorms will occur in some places. The temperature at night will be from +10 to +15 degrees, in the afternoon — from +17 in the Vitebsk region to +25 in the south of the Brest and Gomel regions.
On Sunday, rains are also expected in most districts. At night, it will be around +12 degrees, and in the afternoon — from +19 to +25; in the southeast of the Gomel region, the air may warm up to +27 degrees.
