Sheiman Found to Have Another Possible Mistress and Son. A Secretary Without Higher Education Became the Owner of Luxury Homes and a Shopping Center in a Few Years
In just a few years, Alena Savchanka became a co-owner of a raw materials business and began accumulating expensive real estate. Journalists from the Belarusian Investigative Center revealed : her son's father is listed as Viktor Uladzimiravich Savchanka. However, no such person exists in the passport database. At the same time, these data match those of Viktor Uladzimiravich Sheiman. Other evidence also points to Sheiman.

A new investigation by journalists from the Belarusian Investigative Center, prepared thanks to the "Workers' Movement," "Cyber-partisans," and the Ukrainian hacker community KibOrg, draws attention to the story of the strange and rapid enrichment of Alena Savchanka, a native of Babruysk.
In January 2005, 26-year-old Alena Savchanka started working at the Interregional Crushing and Sorting Plant (MDSZ), which operated near the state enterprise "Granit" – one of the largest producers of crushed stone in Europe. Before this, according to official data, she had only worked as a secretary in a private company. However, just nine months later, Savchanka became the owner of 40% of the plant.
Her family could be considered influential: in the mid-2000s, her father served as the head of the KGB's district department in Kastrykovichy district, and her mother worked in a representative office of a Russian private company. However, according to the investigation's authors, even this does not explain how Savchanka acquired almost half of an enterprise that had access to one of the country's raw material resources.
A Ghost in the Passport Database
Alena Savchanka's son Uladzimir was born in 2002. At that time, the woman was 24 years old, unmarried, and the BRC found no information about her official employment during that period.
According to an extract from the passport database, obtained from the "Cyber-partisans," her son's father is listed as Viktor Uladzimiravich Savchanka. But no such person exists – the father's data are not linked to any valid passport. At the same time, they partially match the data of Viktor Sheiman.
However, this single coincidence would not be enough to assume kinship. Therefore, the BRC checked if there were other connections between Sheiman, Savchanka, and her son. And they found them.
In 2009, seven-year-old Uladzimir Savchanka and his grandmother Zoya Savchanka flew by private plane from Minsk to Simferopol together with Viktor Sheiman and his confidant Aliaksandr Ramanouski. Apart from them, there was only the crew on board. They flew back to Minsk in the same group, also on a business jet. In the same year, Sheiman, Alena Savchanka, and her son flew together to the United Arab Emirates. In 2012, they repeated this route.
And in 2021, tickets to Cuba, to the resort town of Varadero, were jointly booked in the names of Sheiman, Uladzimir Savchanka, and Mikhail Pushkarov (Sheiman's alleged son from Hanna Pushkarova, his current alleged companion). Uladzimir's booking was later canceled; he couldn't fly, probably due to final exams.
The coincidences didn't end there. In 2022, Uladzimir Savchanka, along with Viktor Sheiman, Hanna, and Mikhail Pushkarov, underwent COVID-19 tests at the Republican Clinical Medical Center. Their analyses were registered consecutively in the institution's database.
Neither the entry in the passport database, nor joint flights, nor clinic visits alone prove that Viktor Sheiman is Uladzimir Savchanka's father. However, taken together, these facts indicate their long-standing and close ties. Against this backdrop, Alena Savchanka's rapid enrichment no longer seems accidental.
From Mikashevichy to Niamiha
Alena Savchanka's assets began to increase with the birth of her son. Two years after joining the Interregional Crushing and Sorting Plant, she exited that business.
She acquired shares in several companies of the "Hiperkom" group, as well as two commercial premises in the "Niamiha City" business center, where companies linked to Viktor Sheiman's circle were located at various times.
Thus, in less than three years, a woman who had previously worked as a secretary became a co-owner of several companies and an owner of valuable commercial real estate in the center of Minsk.
The BRC did not find documents that directly explained why shares in these companies were transferred specifically to Savchanka, but already in 2008, investigators from the Ministry of Internal Affairs became interested in this issue and initiated two criminal cases.

The first concerned the use of a forged diploma when hiring at MDSZ and "Hiperkom." The second concerned the allocation, without an auction, of four land plots in the village of Tarasava near Minsk to Alena Savchanka and the head of the "Zhdanovichy" trading house. Land in Tarasava is among the most expensive in the country.
As Vyacheslav Dudkin, former head of the anti-corruption department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who led the investigation, told "Belarusian Partisan," Savchanka admitted to using a forged diploma, and the check of her income, according to him, was stopped after the intervention of Viktor Sheiman, who persuaded Aliaksandr Lukashenka to issue the appropriate command and "lose" the case materials.
The criminal case regarding the forged diploma was closed, and the illegally transferred land plots remained at Alena Savchanka's disposal, despite the fact that the chairman of the village council received four years in prison for their allocation.
Next to Sheiman
The criminal cases did not affect Alena Savchanka's financial situation. According to the BRC, even before the Ministry of Internal Affairs became interested in the origin of her property, she already owned a house and a land plot in Raubichy, two plots in Tarasava, where a cottage of about 700 square meters later appeared, as well as two commercial premises in the "Niamiha City" business center.

Journalists estimate that these premises alone can generate 15 to 20 thousand Belarusian rubles in rental income per month.
By March 2012, Savchanka had left all Minsk companies. At the same time, the last joint trip that the BRC could confirm took place – to the United Arab Emirates with Viktor Sheiman.
After this, another woman, Hanna Pushkarova, appeared in investigations alongside Lukashenka's associate, and when and under what circumstances Sheiman and Savchanka's relationship ended is unknown.

Despite these changes in her personal life, Savchanka's assets continued to grow after 2012. In 2013, she received two cottages as a gift in Vialikaya Sliepyanka – an area near the National Library with prestigious real estate, later acquired two more commercial premises, and in 2019 became the sole owner of the company "Kuveradzjeu," which owns a large shopping center in Minsk.
According to BRC calculations, together with other commercial real estate, these assets can now generate about 100 thousand Belarusian rubles monthly ($33,500).
Now, according to the investigators, Savchanka lives in a large house in Shchomyslica near Minsk. It is located on a plot of about half a hectare with an artificial pond and a bridge.

Alena Savchanka's son Uladzimir studied at the Swiss Institut auf dem Rosenberg from 2017 to 2021 – the most expensive private school in the world. In 2025, one year of study cost $215,000. That is, without additional expenses, the cost of four years of education could amount to about $800,000.
It is unknown who exactly paid for Uladzimir's education – his mother or Viktor Sheiman. According to the found documents, he maintained relations with Uladzimir Savchanka during his studies in Switzerland and after graduation. For example, in June 2022, Uladzimir arrived in Abkhazia on the same days when Viktor Sheiman was there on official business.
The subjects of the investigation declined to comment.
