26-year-old Minsk resident Aliaksei Loseu has every chance of becoming the youngest Belarusian multi-millionaire who achieved everything himself. True, there are nuances. An unusual business story is unfolding in the capital.
Aliaksei Loseu is an outwardly unremarkable young Minsk resident. Born into a simple family. His father, it's true, had a criminal record, but the boy didn't grow up with him. He was raised by his mother. He finished school, engaged in rowing, and even won a bronze medal at the Minsk championship for his age group.
Almost immediately after graduating from school, he started working as an instructor at "Minsk-Arena". In parallel, in 2020, he opened a sole proprietorship.
At the end of 2023, Loseu registered his first company. LLC "Prime Distribution" was engaged in online sales of Chinese vapes — importing them in small batches and processing certificates. At its peak, six people officially worked for Loseu.
But exactly two years later, something went wrong — "Prime Distribution" went bankrupt following a claim from the tax authority of the Central District of Minsk. Demands exceeding 160 million rubles were made against Loseu!
However, only about 800 thousand rubles were recovered from him, presumably in the form of vapes.
Loseu's adventures didn't end there. Just recently, another one of his companies, LLC "Vape Export", opened in mid-2025, also went bankrupt. Again, following a claim from the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Central District of Minsk. This time, the accrued debt amounts to over 43 million rubles.
In total, according to the tax authorities, the young Minsk resident underpaid about 205 million rubles (equivalent to $71 million). If we imagine that this money was actually unpaid, and not the result of creative tax calculations where, for example, the tax authority decided to levy tax on the entire turnover instead of profits, then Aliaksei could confidently be considered the youngest Belarusian multi-millionaire.
However, according to the materials of the latest court hearing, there is nothing to take from Loseu, and he himself does not attend court sessions. Despite this, the guy is not behind bars; he is active online on social networks.
