Lithuanian blogger complained that "Nasha Niva" incorrectly retold his dialogue with Sparysh. The Ethics Commission sided with "NN"
"There are no ethical violations in the publication."

The Lithuanian Commission on Ethics of Public Information considered a complaint by blogger Dominik Čivylis regarding the Nasha Niva publication "Sparysh went to Lithuanian radicals to criticize Tsikhanouskaya. As a result, he heard about 'Belarusian Nazism' and 'Orthodox rabble'", which was published on March 28, 2026.
At the meeting on July 14, the commission noted that an opinion was expressed in the publication, and the text itself appeared in the appropriate section of the portal, where discussion and journalistic materials, political and scientific disputes are published.
Moreover, Nasha Niva twice offered Čivylis to express his counter-opinion, but he refused.
The commission members noted that the applicant should have exercised his right to reply, because "dialogue should always be developed, even in the most difficult discussions".
None of the commission members found ethical violations in the publication. By general consent, the commission decided: the norms of public information ethics in the Nasha Niva material were not violated.
Previously, the Ethics Commission made a similar decision regarding a complaint by Volha Karach: no ethical violations were found either.

Siarhei Sparysh is a former political prisoner. He lives in Lithuania after being deported from Belarus. In the Belarusian opposition field, he joined a movement that radically criticizes Tsikhanouskaya's Office. Additionally, Sparysh formed a coalition with Volha Karach.
