Since the start of the mushroom and berry picking season, 68 people have gotten lost in Belarusian forests, including nine children. This was reported during a press conference by Siarhei Navichuk, head of the search and rescue operations center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' ZUBR unit.

According to him, most people, including all children, have been found. Currently, the search for six people continues.
Siarhei Navichuk noted that rescuers have the necessary equipment and tools for conducting search operations. They use thermal imagers, all-terrain vehicles, and can operate both on the ground and from the air.
Unmanned aerial vehicles and aviation are also used to search for people in forests.
