Trump became a meme hero after the Spanish national team's championship photo
"That guy no one invited," people joke about the photo.

After the World Cup final, US President Donald Trump presented the trophy to the Spanish national football team and joined the award ceremony. However, what attracted the most attention was that Trump did not leave the field but stayed near the footballers during their celebration.
When the players gathered for the traditional championship photo, the US President continued to pose with the team. FIFA President Gianni Infantino had to approach and gesture to Trump that he should step aside so that the Spanish footballers could fully celebrate their victory.

These frames quickly spread across social networks. People started joking that Trump "became a player for the Spanish national team," "won the World Cup," or simply "fought for a spot in the center of the frame." "That guy no one invited," others ironize. Some compare him to a mother-in-law who joined a photo of newlyweds at a wedding without an invitation.

One user joked that after Spain's victory, the World Cup would supposedly be sent to the Oval Office — "according to the rules of the host country."
Now that Spain has officially won the World Cup, we can all celebrate the real star President Trump, as the trophy is on its way to be displayed proudly in the Oval Office, as per the rules which dictate the prize goes to the palace of the hosting country. pic.twitter.com/PMTNtltanz
