Volodymyr Zelenskyy sided with the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian army, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in his dispute with the young, popular, and ambitious Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov. In this situation, the reactions of the most authoritative commanders of the Ukrainian army attract attention.

At the same time, Prokopenko critically reacted to the accusations of «Sovietness» voiced by Fedorov's supporters against the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.
He added: «And one last thing about this. I advise all critics of «sovietness», who dream of touching NATO standards with at least one phalanx of their fingers, to read the book by US Navy Admiral William McRaven «Make Your Bed», which was once cultivated in «Azov» back in 2017. Yes, discipline also exists in «Azov» — we also make our beds and brush our teeth.

Thus, Brigadier General Denys Prokopenko metaphorically reminded that in a combat situation, the main things are discipline and order. His words sound like a call to maintain unity and sole command.
