Women tried to fight them off from law enforcement.

On June 17, a video appeared on social media showing people in military uniform putting men into a minivan. Women surrounding the car shouted that they were forced to sign a contract, cried, and then stood in front of the minivan, preventing it from leaving, Medusa writes.
"Mediazona" found out that the video was shot near the military enlistment office building of the Oktyabrsky and Zheleznodorozhny districts of Penza.
Mass roundups involving military enlistment office employees are allegedly taking place in the city.
According to one witness, traffic police cars and several minivans were near the "Sovremennik" cinema in the very center of the city. Local Telegram channels report that roundups also took place in the district centers — Kamenka and Kuznetsk.
On June 18, Rosgvardiya (Russian National Guard) reported that an "interdepartmental raid to identify citizens who have not registered for military service" took place on the roads of Penza. Nine citizens were handed summonses.
