The illegal merchant did not admit guilt and, in support of his truth, presented what he considered convincing arguments, according to the Operational Measures Department of the Minsk Tax Inspectorate.
«I had no direct intention of engaging in illegal entrepreneurial activity… initially, I bought tickets without the purpose of reselling them later.»
The Operational Measures Department reports more than 60 instances of tickets being sold at a price higher than face value.
The department noted that the court ruled against the Minsk resident, but did not specify the punishment.
This refers to the matches of Minsk «Dynamo» in the KHL, tickets for whose games generate excitement among Belarusian fans. The club had 39 sell-outs this season, and tickets indeed sold out quickly.
