The US reported that the release of political prisoners in Belarus is "delayed for some time"
Donald Trump's administration reported a delay in its efforts to secure the release of more political prisoners from Lukashenka, said Reuters Belarusian democratic leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. This was reported by Radio Svaboda.

Tsikhanouskaya noted that the American side informed her: "the next releases have been delayed for some time," but she cannot disclose the reason for this.
"Knowing the reason, I am not worried. Of course, we want as many people as possible to be released as soon as possible, and any delay destroys the health of many of them," she said. "But this is not the end of the process."
She drew attention to the optimistic words of Cole, who on June 3 wrote on X:
"We are not finished yet. Keep hope!"
