The tragedy occurred on June 6. The homeowner, returning from work, found her husband dead in bed. The woman told the investigative team that arrived that her husband had recently often fallen off his bicycle. She suggested that this time another fall was too unlucky, and the man died from his injuries.
The version was completely disproved by the autopsy. More than 50 injuries were counted on the deceased's body, most of which were classified as severe.
As the investigation revealed, a conflict arose between the father and son on June 6. During the quarrel, the younger man grabbed a metal crowbar and began methodically beating his father with it. No less than 10 blows were inflicted on the victim's head alone, while the rest landed on other parts of the body.
After the brutal beating, the father managed to reach the bed, where he died shortly after from his injuries.
The son had previously been tried for beating close relatives.
