In Kruhlianski district, car theft ended in an accident and fire
A resident of one of the agro-towns in Kruhlianski district was still asleep while rescuers in a neighboring village were already extinguishing his stolen car, engulfed in flames.

The owner of the Peugeot 405 car left it unlocked, and even with the keys in the ignition. A 38-year-old fellow villager took advantage of this. The drunk man decided to visit a friend in a neighboring village using the borrowed car.
However, the drunken ride did not last long. Approximately four kilometers later, the driver lost control of the car, swerved off the road, and at high speed crashed into a power line support.

From the powerful impact, the Peugeot caught fire. The driver himself miraculously escaped unharmed — he got out of the car and went home to sleep.
Firefighters arrived at the scene, but the fire and impact caused such damage to the car that it is beyond repair.
The suspect was detained. The victim himself immediately pointed to him, suspecting his neighbor of the crime.
But the main evidence of the man's involvement in the crime came from the results of experts. At the scene from which the Peugeot was stolen, a forensic expert found shoe prints.
