The winner of the 2026 French Open (Roland Garros) in women's singles became 19-year-old Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva. In the final, which took place on June 6 in Paris, she confidently defeated Poland's Maja Chwalinska with a score of 6:3, 6:2.

Despite the defeat, Maja Chwalinska achieved historical success. She became the first tennis player to qualify for the Roland Garros tournament and manage to reach the main draw final.
World No. 1, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, sensationally exited this time in the quarter-finals, losing to Russian Diana Shnaider.
Roland Garros is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments along with the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. The competitions are traditionally held on clay courts.
In the men's final, which will take place on June 7, German tennis player Alexander Zverev and Italian Flavio Cobolli will meet.
