The Brest region police explained in their channel: there is no direct ban on photoshoots in blooming fields, including rapeseed fields. But there is a nuance.

"When people enter rapeseed fields for striking photos, the plants are crushed, broken, and also cut or torn by citizens for bouquets. And we are not talking about just a few flowers.

After mass photoshoots, entire trampled paths and large bald patches often remain in the fields. For farmers, this is already a very real damage to the harvest.

If damage to crops is proven, those fond of striking photos may be brought to administrative responsibility, provided for by Article 11.3 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses. The fine amount is up to 30 base values, or up to 1350 Belarusian rubles," —

comments Uladzimir Zaremba, Senior Inspector of Public Security of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

The police write that admiring the landscape and capturing it on camera is allowed — but only from the road or roadside.
