Program of the Budslau Festival this July

This year, the Budslau Festival will take place from July 2 to 4.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the restoration of the structures of the Catholic Church in Belarus. Celebrations in honor of the Mother of God of Budslau will take place from July 2 to 4 under the motto: «Glory to God — Trust in Mary — Loyalty to the Church», writes catholic.by.

July 2 (Thursday) — Parish Celebration

  • 12:00 — Holy Mass with the participation of the Minsk Cathedral Chapter,
  • 18:00 — Holy Mass.

July 3 (Friday)

  • 14:00-17:00 — meeting and welcoming of pilgrims,
  • 18:00 — Holy Mass with the participation of pilgrims,
  • 20:00 — Akathist performed by the choir of the Greek Catholic Church,
  • 20:30 — Marian Vespers,
  • 21:00 — Stations of the Cross,
  • 22:00 — Youth Program: «Youth to Youth with Saint Francis of Assisi»,
  • 23:30 — Procession with a copy of the icon of the Mother of God of Budslau.

July 4 (Saturday)

  • 0:00 — Holy Mass,
  • 2:00 — Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament,
  • 6:00 — Divine Liturgy of the Greek Catholic Church at the main altar of the sanctuary,
  • 7:00 — Little Hours of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
  • 8:00 — Holy Mass in the basilica,
  • 9:00 — Fatima Rosary,
  • 9:45 — Presentation of the first all-Belarusian official Catholic hymnal «God, we praise You» — a gift to the Church for the 35th anniversary of the restoration of its structures,
  • 10:30 — renewal of marriage vows on the occasion of the 35th wedding anniversary (1991),
  • 11:30 — Holy Mass,
  • Act of Consecration to the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Minsk-Mogilev Metropolis,
  • Eucharistic Procession.
