"Do you have to be a b*tch to not get cheated?" Belarusian woman outraged by service at Komarovsky market

Komarovka found itself in the center of a scandal. It all started with a simple trip for berries. A Threads user shared her story, as noted by "Tochka".

"I went to buy berries, my favorite spot didn't have a seller, so I went to another. I asked for a small punnet of strawberries, 500g of cherries, and ONE peach," the girl recounts.

According to her, the saleswoman offered her to take more, but after she refused, with a displeased look, she packed all the goods into one large bag. The girl didn't check it and immediately went home.

"I decided to wash the berries, and when I saw what was in the bags, I almost had a meltdown: half a punnet of strawberries was rotten, all the cherries were rotten and deformed, instead of one good peach, they gave me two rotten ones," wrote the Belarusian woman.

She stated that such products are not at all appealing to eat, and there's nothing to eat there anyway. And 25 rubles were spent in vain.

"Interestingly, to not get cheated in this wonderful place, do you have to look like a b*tch, perhaps? Or do you have to agree to everything they try to push on you to eat fresh berries?" the girl wondered.

"MARG isn't enough for them"

The thread with the post's discussion was viewed almost 200 thousand times in a couple of days. Even Komarovka's official account couldn't bypass it.

From Threads

"Please write to us on Instagram: we will try to identify the stall. But the strawberries are not rotten, but bruised. It's unclear about the cherries, but we will look into it," they replied to the girl.

Despite this, a storm of indignation had already been raised. Many said that in recent years they had stopped buying at the market. Among the reasons were rude sellers, short-weighing, and product quality.

Others advised to visit the market more often and buy only from trusted sellers. Then there should be no problems.

Some commentators called on MARG (Ministry of Anti-monopoly Regulation and Trade) and the sanitary service to pay attention to what is happening and to come to Komarovka with an inspection.

Якія там "апошнія гады"! Колькі сябе памятаю, заўсёды там ветлівасць і ненахабнасць прымалі за дазваленне напіхаць паціху гнілля ў пакупкі ці нясвежы кавалак мяса падкінуць.
