A drone hit the bus of the DYUSSH No. 2 Rechytsa team, which was being transported to Gelendzhik for a vacation.

According to a statement by regional head Yegor Kovalchuk, in Russia's Bryansk region, a bus carrying a children's football team was hit by a drone. The children were heading to Gelendzhik for vacation. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation clarifies that the bus was traveling along the Gomel — Bryansk highway. Initially, it was reported that the team was from Gomel, but later it was clarified that the team was from Rechytsa.
As a result of the explosion, a woman accompanying the children died. It is not reported whether she was from Belarus.
Six people were injured, including four underage athletes.

Local authorities state that all injured persons were promptly taken to the hospital, where medical professionals are providing them with necessary assistance. The condition of the injured children is not yet known.
There were 44 passengers on the bus, including 28 children, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports.
"The remaining passengers will be returned home in the near future," the statement says.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus has been informed about the incident; information is being clarified, the ministry reported.
