Flu vaccinations have been available for almost a month, but so far only Russian vaccines are available
European flu vaccines – the French "Vaxigrip" and the Dutch "Influvac" – are not yet available in Belarus. A number of state polyclinics offer only the Russian preparation "Gripol Plus", while private medical centers in some cases have completely suspended vaccination pending imported supplies, Belsat found out .

Belsat learned about the absence of European vaccines in several Belarusian medical institutions. Despite the fact that the Ministry of Health of Belarus announced the start of the vaccination campaign on October 1, patients currently do not have the option to choose between Russian and European preparations.
The Brest Central Polyclinic confirmed that French and Dutch vaccines are not yet available. The medical institution offers only Russian preparations for both flu and coronavirus.
A similar situation has developed in Minsk Polyclinic No. 16. There, "Gripol" is used for free vaccination. According to the institution's staff, French and Dutch vaccines have not yet arrived, so medical professionals are awaiting supplies and continue to vaccinate people with the Russian preparation.
According to Tochka.by, a number of state medical institutions also only have "Gripol Plus". Private medical centers "Lode", "Horizon", and "Ekomedservice" are not currently conducting vaccinations due to the absence of European preparations.
The "Horizon" medical center expects to receive European vaccines no earlier than October 26. The other two institutions could not name the start dates for vaccination.
The Ministry of Health hotline reported that paid vaccines should appear in approximately one to two weeks.
At the same time, the ministry itself considers October the optimal time for flu vaccination and advises against postponing vaccination until November.
