Students and Schoolchildren Can Be Absent for Five Days Without a Medical Certificate
The Ministry of Health has clarified the rules for absence from classes in schools and universities, ONT reported.
This rule applies to all students of educational institutions regardless of the level of education — kindergartens, schools, colleges, vocational schools, universities.
It also applies to children studying under special education programs at preschool and general secondary education levels.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that medical certificates are not required for educational institutions if a student was absent from classes for no more than five consecutive days due to a single instance of acute respiratory infections during an exacerbation of illnesses.
And the number of such cases within a certain period is not limited.
