What to buy at Minsk's Komarovka market: tomatoes for 1.5 rubles, persimmons for 4 rubles
As November approaches, the selection at the capital's markets gradually decreases. But you can still find even Belarusian summer berries, writes Tochka.by.

There are still plenty of vegetables at the market, but their prices are slowly rising. For example, cucumbers cost an average of three rubles per kilo. But in some places, prices for "selected, the very best, farm-grown" already reach 25 rubles.
However, you can find cheap tomatoes for canning — from 1.5 rubles per 1 kg. But there are fewer and fewer of them: the average price for good tomatoes is from 5 rubles.

Eggplants cost 4-8 rubles per 1 kg. Peppers have become slightly more expensive, asking 3-12 rubles.
Good news: potatoes are holding prices at their previous level: 0.79-4 rubles per kilo.
Cabbage is sold for 0.8-3 rubles. Onion prices start from 2.5 rubles. Carrots cost 1-5 rubles, beets — 2.5-4.5 rubles.

Garlic will cost from 10 to 20 rubles per 1 kg.
Greens are getting more expensive: if converted to kilograms, the simplest options will cost 15-20 rubles.

Corn is still available for 2.5-4.9 rubles per 1 kg.
There are few mushrooms, and their prices are stable. Porcini mushrooms cost 80-100 rubles per kilo, honey mushrooms — 20, chanterelles — 13.9-17 rubles, champignons — 8-12 rubles.

The orange hit of the season — pumpkin — will cost 3-6 rubles per 1 kg.
It's still profitable to buy grapes — from 3.9 rubles per kilo. There are cheap bananas for 2.9-5 rubles.

Among the good offers are apples. They cost 1-4 rubles per 1 kg. There are few cheap pears: the best price is 4.9 rubles, but they look a bit "overripe". The average price is 7-8 rubles per kilo.
Oranges cost 3.8-15 rubles, lemons — 5.5-14.9 rubles.

Watermelons are getting more expensive — already 2.9 rubles per kilo. Melons are also rising in price — now 5.9-7.5 rubles.
More and more persimmons. The simplest ones cost only 4 rubles per 1 kg, there are also some for connoisseurs — for 15 rubles.

Imported blueberries will cost 39-100 rubles per 1 kg. You can still find Belarusian strawberries. The cheapest ones are 16.9 rubles, selected ones — 45 rubles.
There are gradually fewer juicy fruits at the market, and they are becoming more expensive. Good offers include apples, persimmons, grapes, and bananas.
But watermelons and melons are cheaper in the store.
Also, more and more imported berries are being brought in — Belarusian ones are gradually disappearing.
Farm-grown cucumbers are also running out. Fewer tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers for canning.
