Zelenskyy Trolls Putin with Intelligence Data on Russian Leader's Falling Ratings and Growing Protest Moods in the Russian Federation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a post based on reports from Ukrainian special services. According to him, Ukrainian intelligence gained access to documents that land on the Kremlin chief's desk, which indicate a serious internal crisis in Russia ahead of the autumn elections.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the data was obtained thanks to the joint work of Ukrainian intelligence and Ukraine's friends. He noted that the Russian dictator is rarely presented with the truth "without embellishment," but even official reports from Russian agencies are already registering alarming trends for the Kremlin.

The main conclusion from the documents, announced by the President of Ukraine, concerns the sharp increase in social tension in the Russian Federation before the parliamentary elections scheduled for September.

"In particular, the so-called projected indicators of Russian discontent with Putin will continue to steadily grow, and he has already begun to be accustomed to the idea that the growth of discontent cannot be stopped and this indicator 'will not plateau' by September..." Zelenskyy stated.

From the published graphs and reports, it follows that "the erosion of the Donbas consensus" is occurring in Russia, and the discontent of Russians will steadily grow. According to the document, by September, the approval rating of Putin's activities will fall to 55%, and the disapproval rating will rise to 33%.

At the same time, a stable trend of falling ratings for the Russian ruling party is also recorded, which, according to the Ukrainian leader, "means the need for significantly greater falsifications."

Intelligence also reports a significant increase in protest moods specifically in Russian regions.

Zelenskyy emphasized that these Russian reports do not yet account for future summer events, likely hinting at Ukrainian operations: "We believe that these reports have not yet taken into account potential events in June, July, and August, which cannot but additionally affect the situation in Russia."

The President of Ukraine stressed that the Kremlin has so far responded to all public and secret peace initiatives by continuing the war. However, according to Zelenskyy, the internal situation in Russia itself should convince Moscow otherwise.

Ukraine continues to propose negotiating for a "dignified peace," but if the Kremlin ignores reality, Zelenskyy predicts a change of power in the Russian Federation.

"Obviously, the trends will not change, and over time this may mean that an agreement will have to be concluded with someone else from Russia – with someone who will not close themselves off from reality," Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
