Belarus manufactures children's body armor, already supplied to Russia
At the exhibition-forum "National Security. Belarus-2026", the Belarusian company "Branya" presented special protective equipment for children — an anti-fragmentation bulletproof vest and a protective poncho, writes the Russian agency TASS.

According to a company representative, these products are intended for use during the evacuation of children from combat zones. Their main task is to provide at least minimal protection against fragments, since in modern conflicts a significant part of injuries comes precisely from fragments of shells, ammunition, and drone attacks.
Both products are made of aramid fabric and comply with protection class Br2. The weight of the bulletproof vest and poncho is approximately three kilograms each.
According to company information, similar protective equipment is already being supplied as humanitarian aid to Russia, including to the Belgorod region.
A distinctive feature of these products is their appearance. Instead of traditional military camouflage, they are designed as children's clothing with bright illustrations. The developers explain this by the desire to reduce psychological stress in children. In their opinion, when a child wears a standard military bulletproof vest, it can cause fear and additional anxiety, therefore, the children's design should make the use of such protective equipment less psychologically traumatic.
