Details of the fatal trip of local residents to Russia revealed in Rechytsa. There were two buses, 41 children out of 88
As reported by the Rechytsa District Executive Committee, the transportation was organized by non-state carriers registered in the Rechytsa and Kalinkavichy districts. 88 people traveled along the Rechytsa — Gelendzhik route in two buses. A football team and a dance school were going to Gelendzhik.

Among the passengers were 41 children. Of them, 28 students of Children and Youth Sports School No. 2 of the Rechytsa district were heading to training camps at a health resort. Another 13 children attended a private dance studio and were also going for vacation and training. Some of the children were accompanied by parents, while the rest traveled with adult representatives holding powers of attorney.
According to information, at about 11 AM, near the locality of Rudnya in the Bryansk region, one of the two buses, carrying 43 passengers, was damaged as a result of a drone attack. After the incident, all passengers were taken to the town of Pochep in the Bryansk region.
According to updated data, eight people were injured in the attack, and one person died. The coach-instructor of Children and Youth Sports School No. 2 was hospitalized in serious condition. Six children also sustained injuries of varying severity.
The injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance. To support their Russian colleagues, three medical teams from Belarus, including specialists of republican level, departed for the Bryansk region. In turn, hospitals in the Homiel region declared their readiness to admit the injured for further treatment if a decision is made to transport them to Belarus.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
