Lukashenka is addressing the issue of enlarging Drybin District today
The authorities of Mogilev Region have prepared proposals for the enlargement of Drybin District. This was reported by Anatoly Isachenko, Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, after an alleged report to Lukashenka. Lukashenka himself, as is usual on Wednesdays, was not shown. Meanwhile, Lukashenka has not yet commented on today's main topic — the drone attack on a Belarusian bus with children in Russia's Bryansk Region.

Earlier, it was instructed to consider the possibility of expanding the territory of Drybin District by annexing part of the lands of neighboring districts. According to preliminary calculations, after changing the borders, the area of the district will increase by approximately 10 thousand hectares. As a result, it will become slightly larger than the average district in Mogilev Region.
Along with the new territories, agricultural enterprises currently operating on these lands should also become part of the district. While there are currently six agricultural enterprises in Drybin District, their number will approximately double after the enlargement.
According to Anatoly Isachenko, the region has already worked on this issue and submitted its proposals. They are currently under consideration. The final decision will be made after additional discussion and a new report to Lukashenka.
The head of Mogilev Region noted that the issue of district enlargement is very complex and affects many aspects. It is not only about changing borders, but also about land resources, population, material base, organization of enterprises' work, and local governance.
