Russia has recently increased the number of drone attacks launched from the territory of Belarus or along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, reported Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

At the same time, Andriy Demchenko noted that there are currently no significant numbers of Russian troops on the territory of Belarus, and no redeployment of additional units has been recorded, which could indicate preparations for a new large-scale offensive on Ukraine from the northern direction.
According to him, the Ukrainian side, however, continues to consider the threat from Belarus relevant. Among the possible risks are the likelihood of a repeated invasion in a different format, as well as possible provocations on the border with the aim of diverting Ukrainian forces from other sections of the front.
Demchenko separately noted that Russia continues to pressure Belarus, trying to achieve its more active participation in the war against Ukraine.
