Starting from July 1, 2026, Belarusian cyclists will be able to compete in tournaments under the auspices of the International Cycling Union with their flag and anthem in individual and team competitions. Since 2023, they have participated in UCI events in a neutral status.
Earlier, international federations of gymnastics, modern pentathlon, boxing, volleyball, wrestling, equestrian sports, karate, dance sports, billiards, water skiing, fencing, Muay Thai, and archery announced the lifting of all restrictions on Belarusians. Such decisions were made after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on May 7 recommended allowing Belarusian athletes to all international competitions without restrictions.
