According to information that "Zerkalo" received from "Cyberpartisans", a full namesake of this person — Viktor Vasilievich Druzik — was born in 1956. Until the late 2000s, he was a KGB officer. From 2010 to 2019, he worked at the "Vostochny" trading house, which belongs to Lukashenka's Property Management Directorate, where he held the position of deputy director. From 2019 to 2020, he was not officially employed anywhere. From November 2021 to November 2024, he was listed at the "Freestyle" sports and recreation complex.
A person with the same details is mentioned on the "Awards of Belarus" website.
There he is listed as the head of the KGB's internal security department, a lieutenant colonel of justice, awarded in 1997 with the "For Impeccable Service" 1st degree medal.
Now, apparently, this person has joined the Kupala Theater. As recently as January 2026, another person, Uladzimir Kukhtsik, was the deputy director there. But by mid-March, Viktor Druzik was already holding this position. On the team's website, this person has no portrait (whereas the director and the other deputy director do), and their biography is not filled out.
The appointment of security officials to the management of Belarusian theaters is a new trend from the authorities. At least four such individuals are known.
Two police lieutenant colonels serve as Deputy Directors of the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus. These are Vadim Martysevich, who has held this position since 2023 (he left the police force from the position of head of the ideological work and personnel support department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Special Lyceum), and Dzmitry Kisly, who appeared in the position in February 2026 (he previously headed the cultural and educational work center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs).
Police Major Viachaslau Lianenka, who worked as a forensic expert in the capital's district police department and then in the security sector, was Deputy Director of the Belarusian State Puppet Theater since 2024. And since April 2026, the man has been heading the institution.
In the same year, 2024, Yury Petrasheuski became the Deputy Director for Security, Regime, and Personnel of the capital's Gorky Theater. A check using the "Voka Zmagara" (Fighter's Eye) bot, created by "Cyberpartisans", showed that he was the deputy head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Miadzel District Executive Committee, holding the rank of police lieutenant colonel.
