The exotic fruit was brought from China, and its price is about 62 rubles per kilogram, writes Onliner.by.

Judging by its appearance and price, the product is clearly not intended for the mass market, but rather for lovers of the unusual.

Loquat is called a fruit with a "composite" taste: it simultaneously features apricot, pear, apple, and a light citrusy tartness. At the same time, it is considered quite healthy: it contains vitamins and minerals, but remains low in calories.

Most often, it is eaten fresh — as a dessert or a light snack.
