The "Belarus" publishing house has released a research book by Mikola Trus, "Yakub Kolas in Paris. 1935," dedicated to the Belarusian classic's trip to the International Congress of Writers for the Defense of Culture, writes Bellit.info.

As stated in the annotation, readers will find an archival reconstruction of the circumstances of Yakub Kolas's participation in the aforementioned literary congress (Paris, 1935) in the book.
Mikola Trus publishes the report of the classic of Belarusian literature, which was translated into Russian, French, and German, as well as a number of unique materials that allow for a new reading of the writer's two essays about his trip to the French capital and a more panoramic view of this significant event in the cultural life of Europe and the entire world.

The book can be purchased at "Akademichnaya Kniha" (Academic Book), and also ordered through online bookstores, for example, on the Oz.by website.
