The publisher "Papury" has reissued the richly illustrated book of Belarusian magical fairy tales and legends "The Sorcerer Who Became a Wolf", which was first published in 2020.

The folk texts were compiled and adapted by translator and poet Anton Frantsishak Bryl, writes bellit.info.
The new edition features one new short fairy tale, "Where Books Come From". According to the compiler Anton Frantsishak Bryl, he encountered the story after the first version of the book was released, and it perfectly complemented it. The publisher also improved the printing quality.
The collection includes magical fairy tales and legends from various corners of Belarus, recorded in the late 19th — early 20th centuries, and now re-selected and adapted. Some plots are well-known to the reader, while others, on the contrary, rarely appeared in popular publications. The book will appeal to those interested in folklore, as well as lovers of dragons, werewolves, and other interesting characters. The literary adaptation was done with maximum care for the original texts, but in such a way that they are understandable and interesting to the youngest readers and listeners.
Valery Slauk's work on this book was named the best in the "Artistic Design" nomination by the Tsotka Award jury.
